Abstract


We live in a cultural context where it is not easy to know what the criticism is and even more thinking so. Nevertheless, I believe that it is possible to exercise philosophy as a critical activity as long as three conditions are fulfilled: for philosophy to be truly critical, it has to take care of the complexity of reality, it must be carried out from a certain distance from immediate reality, and it has to be a theory
